UCSCU is working closely with CCA in a technical relationship. CCA with its head offices in Ottawa, Canada is reputed for technical skills in many key SACCO development areas such as legal reforms. CCA was instrumental in drafting a new law for SACCOs in Ghana.

In Uganda on the invitation of UCSCU, CCA has carried out two studies and has made recommendations on how Uganda can strengthen its legal framework for SACCOs.

Currently both WOCCU and CCA are supporting UCSCU in implementing a pilot Supervision Program in selected SACCOs in Uganda
