Community Mobilization

UCSCU mobilizes communities countrywide and trains them to come together as cooperators in order to start SACCOs or to join existing ones and become members, instill a culture of savings by encouraging members to own shares and also deposit savings into SACCOs to build their financial muscle through credit and savings.

Capacity Building and Training

UCSCU offers training to SACCO committee members, sub committee, SACCO management and general membership. The training activities address several technical areas to build up ownership, skills and internal capacity within the SACCOs. UCSCU has a training centre at Maganjo 12 Kms along Bombo road where some of the trainings and workshops are held.
